There are currently over 200 types of dementia (not including all the mixed dementias).  

Alzheimers  represents about 60% of these diagnoses.

In 2021, The World Health Organization identified dementia as a public health priority.  This is driven by the exponential diagnosis rate as well as the lack of healthcare infrastructure to meet the expected demand.
